bullet1.What is freeze drying?  Freeze drying your flowers is the process of removing water from the flowers while they are frozen within a freeze drying machine. Moisture is slowly removed from the frozen flowers while they are under vacuum. Science prefers the name sublimation while the process is commonly referred to as freeze-drying.

bullet2. Is freeze drying the best method to preserve flowers and am I using the right company to preserve my flowers?

The below pricing is for freeze drying your flowers. Framing is priced separately. See online selections page for custom framing price.
  • Small wedding bouquet- $149.95 (up to 15 main blooms)
  • Medium wedding bouquet- $179.95 (up to 25 main blooms)
  • Large wedding bouquet- $199.95 (25 to 35 main blooms)
  • Extra Large wedding bouquet- add $3 per bloom (if more than 35 main blooms)
  • Individual Flower Pricing:1 to 6 blooms $12.50 ea.,7 to 12 blooms $9.50 ea.,13 or more...$8.00 ea.

bullet4. What types of flowers can you freeze-dry?   You can have us freeze-dry preserve almost all flower varieties with excellent results.

This a list of flowers that we have preserved with consistantly excellent results: Cymbidium, phalaenopsis, dendrobium orchids. Sweet pea, daffodil, stock, lisianthus, japhet, asiatic, oriental, casablanca, calla lily, and stargazer lilies. Agapanthus, alstroemeria, anemone, chrysanthemum, red, coral, pink bouvardia. Ageratum, aster, bells of Ireland, birds of paradise, calycina, calendula, stephanotis, gardenia, ranuculus, phlox, peony, queen annes lace, lysimachia, lily of the vally, iris, hyacinth, heather, kangaroo paw, liliac, liatris, freesia, delphinium, gladiolus, hydrangea, leptospermum, limonium,  protea, pompons, gerbera, carnation, roses, cornflower, dahlia, tulip, yarrow. All sunflowers, scabiosa, larkspur, solidago, statice, snapdragon, waxflower, viburnum, Babies breath and filler flowers, many wild flowers, aquatic flowers and other flowers...

bullet5. Should I make a reservation?  It is not necessary to make a reservation, however if you are planning on using our company we do accept reservations to secure your date with us.

bullet6. How soon do you need to get my flowers?  It is not so much the time, but rather the freshness of the blooms that is important for the best preservation results . We encourage our clients to submit flowers without delay if possible.

bullet7. How can I get my flowers to you?  Simply surround flowers in foam packing peanuts in a cardboard box and ship them overnight. If you are in the Central New England Area you may have them dropped off to us.

bullet8. What is the best way to care for my flowers before I can get them to you? For best preservation results, your fresh flowers should be kept hydrated and cool in an air conditioned room. Never allow flowers to freeze.

bullet9. How long does the preservation process take?  Most orders are ready in about 90-120 days, however we reserve the right to extend the completion date in order to present you with the completed product.

bullet10. How long will my freeze dried flowers last?   We utilize hidden preservation materials in our frame designs along with UV filtering protective glazing. Our company seals each frame using a vapor proof barrier. Our framing packages help protect your freeze dried flowers from outside air, humidity, harmful UV light rays and insects. Freeze-dried flowers will keep for years of enjoyment. With time flower colors are expected to mellow.

bullet11. Can you ship it to me when its completed?  Yes we do ship completed orders. Our protective return shipping packaging costs $79.95 plus the FedEx shipping rate to your location.

bullet12. How long do I have to select my frame or enclosure?   Simply use our online selections page to make your framing selections within thirty days of sending your flowers.
